Tracy Sestelli , who founded the nonprofit, the Beverly Fund, contacted RTR4C to help “Rock the Rooms” at Aria Hospital Cancer Center in memory of her mother, Beverly Pierandozzi who passed from lung cancer. Tracy’s mother had received cancer treatments at this center.
Our very own “Celebrity Designer”, Cora Sue Anthony and her dream team of talented professionals came together to design and transform the four chemotherapy rooms into a beautiful, soothing, lovely and hopeful environment for the cancer patients. I don’t know who was more excited – the patients who cheered, “I’m gonna beat this now” or the COO who stated, “It is, for me, akin to winning the lottery as I’ve never received the gift of such a blessed gesture” or Tracy, who had the opportunity to work with her family, friends and nurses who had helped her mother.
Other transformations: Walls – new paint, wallpaper and stenciled. 2 full walls of photographed decals. New privacy curtains between the chairs. New lighting, new closet for blankets, new nurse’s station, and art work
